What sets New Farm Dental Studio apart
We put you first
We build trust with our patients by taking the time to listen to your concerns and explain treatment options in detail. We will treat you as an individual and aim beyond your expectations every time. Don’t take our word for it - we regularly receive feedback that our patients really appreciate the time our team invests in explaining and discussing treatment options.

We treat you as an individual
Do you put off going to the dentist because the very thought of sitting in the chair brings you out in a cold sweat? Dr Mark’s friendly and compassionate nature ensures even the most anxious of patients will feel calm and in control during their visit. Dr Mark and his team have earned a reputation for their personalised service and will take the time to understand what is important to you. The team will work with you to tailor a treatment plan that combines your specific needs and wants with our clinical findings.
We are an Accredited dental practice
Unlike many other dentists, our practice is fully accredited by the Australian Dental Association (ADA). Going through this rigorous accreditation process is voluntary, but we chose to get this stamp of approval from the ADA because we care. We care about you and are committed to delivering all our patients safe and quality-focused healthcare.
Dr Mark Calvert
PRINCIPAL DENTIST
Dr Mark runs and owns our clinic. After 14 years in private practice in the UK, Mark moved to sunny Brisbane in 2014. Our resident pome has earned a reputation for providing dental care with a difference. He builds trust by taking the time to listen and educate his patients so they understand their options and are comfortable, knowing they are in control. Predominantly a family dentist, Dr Mark also specialises in migraine management, sleep medicine and cosmetic braces. When Mark is not at work, he enjoys exploring his adopted Queensland with his wife and two young sons. He loves to keep fit and having recently taken up fishing, he has worked out why it’s not called ‘catching’!
Thao has a wealth of experience in oral health and is dual qualified. Her primary role is to help educate on the importance of caring for your teeth and maintaining good oral hygiene. Outside of work, Thao enjoys spending time with her kids exploring cafes around Brisbane. She has recently taken up knitting and photography but has yet to combine the two and take any photos of her needlework!
